You can’t even tell its vegan honestly. I love the Oreo flavor, and this cake turned out so wet and light! This recipe is truly so easy, and if you don’t have vegan ingredients then feel free to swap for what you do have! Moist and creamy for the vegan cream on top. I got a vegan whipping cream from Trader Joe’s, or your local grocer that sells a different brand, and just whipped it for 2 minutes. It came out just as perfect as dairy whipped cream. Honestly I’m shocked that it did. Tres leche using my Staple vanilla cake recipe: 8 inch bakeware ✅1 1/2 cups flour ✅3/4 sugar ✅1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 baking soda ✅1 tbsp ACV ✅2 tbsp oil ✅1 tbsp almond extract/ or vanilla ✅1 cup vegan milk Mix all dry ingredients, and then place wet ingredients one by one in the dry. Might need 1/2 c extra of milk. No need for seperate bowl. Then mix and place on to 8 inch round. Once baked at 350 for 25- 30 Once cooled Put holes or fork dents in to cake and begin tres leche liquid ✅1 can vegan condensed milk ✅ half can full fat coconut milk ✅ 1 cup vegan milk ✅ 1/2 cup Oreos Blend these liquids together and pour on top of cooled cake Then take 2 cups vegan whipping cream and 2 tbsp sugar and beat with mixer for 2 minutes. Place whipped cream as finished product. Let cake sit in the fridge for an hour before enjoying and best overnight.
