@livewellwithtia: Despite facing the challenges of grief and health battles, I strive to stay focused and disciplined in all areas of my life. My daily effort to persevere inspires others to do the same. Here are 5 ways I’ve learned to be more disciplined: Recognising Temptations: Even grief and obstacles, acknowledging your temptations shows remarkable self-awareness and strength. By recognising them, you’re already taking a crucial step toward overcoming them and finding peace. "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone." - James 1:13. Focusing on Strengths: Despite the challenges you're facing, your ability to focus on your strengths is admirable. Your strengths are like beacons of hope, guiding you through dark times and guiding the path ahead. Keep nurturing them, and they will continue to empower you. "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 Asking for Help: It takes immense courage to ask for help, especially when you're grieving and facing numerous obstacles. But by reaching out, you're not only showing vulnerability but also resilience. You're allowing others to walk alongside you on this journey, sharing burdens and multiplying joys. "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2 Working Through Triggers: Confronting triggers can be incredibly daunting, especially in times of grief. But your determination to face them head-on is truly inspiring. Remember, you are not defined by your triggers; you have the strength to overcome them and emerge even stronger on the other side. "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." - 2 Timothy 1:7 Resting in the Word & Prayer: In the midst of life's chaos, finding comfort and peace in the Word and prayer is a testament to your unwavering faith and resilience. It's a reminder that even in the darkest moments, you are never alone. May the peace that surpasses all understanding envelop you as you rest in God's presence. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 #selfdiscipline #christiantiktok #livewellwithtia
