@doctorswithoutborders: Let’s #TalkAboutSudan and WATER: Here's what many people who fled to the neighboring country of Chad are experiencing - Al-Acha camp in eastern Chad is home to about 50,000 people. Over half a million refugees and returnees have fled #Sudan into Chad since the war broke out a year ago. MSF water and sanitation technician Sharaf Aldin led us through the camp and shared the difficulties people face to secure water. Our teams are working in several locations in eastern Chad, providing maternal and surgical care, water and sanitation, and care for people with malnutrition, malaria, and other diseases. In the camps of eastern Chad there’s an outbreak hepatitis E.
Water should be a human right, no one should suffer from lack of water, but sadly, this will be more and more common 😩😩😩
