That first piece is definitely not beginner in my opinion, I’d say that’s grade 5 level which takes a couple years to get to, especially the major part of the song which is harder to play.

You should try out classical guitar style on a 7 string. The 7th string gives you room for some wicked bass lines. The bar gives you the lower 5th nbd
