I used to walk over 20,000 steps a day. I have been fighting plantar fasciitis for about a year now. I have gained weight and I'm loosing my mind. Walking is a great way to get exercise.

Yes! I lost 75lb by walking/hiking! Not to mention the good we get from sunlight during a walk you wouldn’t get in the gym

Maybe it’s just me but I think it’s a great way to burn a few calories without upping my appetite. Walk, cut back on snacks and reduce your drink calories near zero, and you’re going to lose weight

A doctor told me one time that “walking was the participation trophy of exercise.” I completely STOPPED my walks all together for 4 years and gained 20 pounds. His negativity ruined me for years.

Walking is a great exercise. If you want more of a workout when walking add weight or increase speed and or elevation. Low impact exercise.
