Vaganova seems technical, almost rigid and Balanchine seems more expressive and fluid. It looks like a tyoical Old School v New Wave battle but I don’t know enough; it’s just my thoughts!

My teacher was a strict asian lady who was raised in russia and graduated from a russian ballet academy... needless to say it was vaganova or failure 😔 structured and exact, perfect and poised
