I get your point but with DNA testing so readily available, oral family health history isn't really necessary. Perhaps donors should be required to leave a DNA sample for future progeny?

Yes they shouldn't have been allowed to donate. You should have been allowed to know a father and mother. Soul wounds come from donors to offspring. Adults need a child focus, not I want to be a paren

NOBODY is owed a child. EVERY person should have legal access to their biological parents regardless of a contract. Genetic issues can unalive someone! I don't understand what they don't understand

Not all donor and adopted children feel this way. My siblings are adopted and have no interest in finding their biological parents. My donor conceived 15 yr old has no interest except for the siblings

as a donor for 2 different families, I’d be open to their children seeking me out. Even though they each got a letter from me explaining why I did what i did. I also had no medical issues, I do now

I think to begin to change circumstances you need to change the laws for donation, The donator should go through a complete medical check as well as their history searched before donation. ♥️
