State school for BSN. $25k for tuition only. Most of my classmates finished with about $100k in loans. Starting pay is $30/hr. Raises per year are typically $1 or less. You gotta tweak your numbers...

It’s really what you want from life. Financially better to be a nurse. But if you really want to know what is wrong with the patient and practice medicine then obviously the physician

really not worth it to become a MD anymore - used to be - cost of debt and cost of time… RN. can do in 2-4 years and OT. I know a lot of RICH nurses

In Kansas, new grad nurses make a base pay of about $27.50 per/hr. We do have shift($4.50) and weekend($3.25) differentials, but max for a new grad working all weekend nights for a year is $73.3K
