Gymnastics is so tough because the minute you think about what you’re doing it all goes bad. So much of it is mental. The body knows what to do but when your brain overthinks it’s awful.

Watching this live showed that Simone is a leader and they way she supported the team after she decided not to finish the competition - I admire her so much.
