@jellyeatsfood: Fura Overall: 8.5/10 Very cool cocktails which you have to go for! Fura recently opened the doors last year in September, and is an edgy yet quiet cocktail bar at the edge of Amoy street. Just looking at the menu, I can tell that they are bringing their vision of the future to life. They have very interesting cocktails such as jellyfish martini.(yes actual jellyfish), a black garlic and seaweed ice cream cocktail, and sweet tropical milkshake-like cocktail. It is so hard to describe the complex cocktails that they craft here. Not to mention they have a collaboration with freshveggies to make alcohol and Kombucha from ‘ugly’ fruits/vegetables, which is sustainable and so cool! Food wise, they use a lot of herbs as well as special ingredients such as cactus coulis, shio koji, and crickets, that will leave you wondering “what did I just eat?” I tried the new yuck city, which has savoury sweet and sour elements, and yet is perfectly balanced with the emperial ayuuk alcohol-base. This is one I will recommend you to try. My friend tried their ugly delicious wines, the preach peach which is a 90 day fermented doughnut peach with barley koji and caramelized sake-lees, which is lightly sweet and peachy. It was a whole experience, and I would definitely come here to try the other interesting cocktails. Food we had the pepper leaf vafler (a stack of herbs on a waffle), milk, mylk, melk (mushrooms- best of the 3), and what would Mirko do? (Tomato pasta). While it was something new for us to try, I felt that their food was not great...
