@metrouk: The United Arab Emirates reportedly carries out over 300 cloud seeding missions a year, a method used to increase rainfall. And this week, the nations seen its highest amount of rainfall in 75 years, causing record flash flooding. But could cloud seeding have much of an impact on such a huge weather event? #fy #fyp #cloudseeding #weather #dubai #unitedarabemirates🇦🇪 #uae #uae🇦🇪 #uaetiktok🇦🇪 #science #news #rain #chemicals #aircraft #debunked #debunk #newstok #flood #flooding #flashflood #oman #exlpainer #cloud #clouds
It is SHOCKING (but not surprising) that the news is failing to mention how climate change is playing a role in this.

The answer to your last question is "No." Cloud seeding doesn't increase severity of storms. It increases the likelihood of rain. These are two separate things.
