MashaAllah you look stunning Osobey🥰 as an OB nurse I’d suggest you to plan as if you’re gonna stay for 2 days, if anything changes & you start (1/2)

As a black woman I would stay at least 24hrs, just incase. Pay close attention to any excess bleeding, high blood pressure etc. Go with what your gut tells you. May Allah makes it easy for you🙏🏾

It all depends on how you feel if your confident and going home then go but if not definitely stay.

I had both my babies by a midwife and always left 4 hours after birth. Alhamdulilah I had no complications. And the midwife made a home visit the next day.

Definitely stay! I stayed and it was easier to get all the tests done so when you go home you can just rest and not be bothered lol

From experience, it's always best to stay until they discharge you. 4 hours is too soon, they still need to check your uterus every few hours to make sure it's gone back down to prevent haemorrhaging

I left right away. I had the baby at 6:05 and i left by 8:30pm. I really didn’t want to stay at the hospital.

I’m an OB nurse, for my hospital, you can leave after 24 hours. This is after they do baby’s newborn screen and blood draw
