I have adhd. My son needs to have all the paw patrol dogs and their cars, and then he has Spider-Man but he also then needs spider Gwen and Miles morales. So he has a lot of toys 🥲🥲

this message needs to be for in-laws and family members too. we get soooo many gifts from people and it's overwhelming. grateful that they do that but we have way to many toys for our little baby

Most toys are coming from family, especially my mom (grandma). I almost want to say, “every time u have an impulse to buy a toy, put that amount into a savings account instead!”

I've seen moms rotate toy bins. I think this is a good idea. And after christmas they van donate the ones they dont use anymore

My son is 5. I still do toy rotating every 2 weeks. I have 4 bins and my son sees them every 2 months. works great for us!

I put away a LOT of the toys in my preschool classroom. Behavioral issues have decreased drastically and they actually play more now 😅

What if it’s all organized tho? I have labeled bins and shelving for everything to keep the mess minimal and easy clean up. Does it still hurt the kid

how do you deal with family who BOUGHT the toys? if I get rid of them in "rotation " they will be offended that I git rid of one of THEIR toys that they bought for the child....
