Most artists who offer this will purposefully get heavy handed when they wanna be done! Which usually doesn’t add up to much of a discount. 🙃 Plus too large of tattoos have hard healing times

i’ve never heard of this, i feel like i would NEVER do one unless i really trust the artist. my artist has been tattooing my family for 3 generations so i trust him but if i tried someone new? no way!

i thought it was when if ur client wanted to tap out in the middle of the tattoo it meant they could leave lol. then i realized u can always leave whenever lol

I’d only do it if I had a really good personal relationship with the artist. My ex husband did one but we were friends with the artist. The same artist gifted me a tattoo but not someone I didn’t

My artist does this with me mostly bc I use it to fill medium gaps and small gaps in my sleeves. But I just book her for 6 hours and I even buy her lunch on top of the tattoo price.
