I agree, the church is too lenient on remarriage. Jesus was clear. unless adultery was committed remarriage isn't a option.

I’ve never been married in church, only court. But I was in a very abusive marriage, I had to save myself. I don’t feel guilty for leaving, God knows my heart. He knows the truth.

This is how I felt in my marriage. It’s a promise between 3 not 2. I never signed my divorce papers and he had to take me to court. The shame I carry bc of my divorce!
