Iceland isn’t actually that cold at all. In Reykjavík, the average low temp in January is -2° and the average high is +2°. By comparison, Toronto is -7° and 0° respectively.

I met someone from Iceland and they said they learned about the great migration to Canada / Manitoba in school. One of the few people Ive met who knew about Winnipeg/Manitoba. I was stunned 😭

Freezing cold? I thought the inhabited region of Iceland had a somewhat oceanic climate due to the Gulf stream? Google says average temp around 0 °C (32 °F) in winter.
