Ok hear me out. Washing chicken is completely unnecessary in modern times & can be dangerous. Meat is cleaned during processing; and salt & lemon are not purifiers. Rinsing raw meat contaminates 1/2

A lot of people here don’t understand that in South Asian and Middle Eastern culture (and I’m sure others too) it is VERY common to wash chicken. Esp when bought directly from the butcher!
