One time our ticket system was broken so we had to email IT directly to tell them the Ticket System was down and they asked if I had submitted a ticket for the fix.

as the it admin you're better off just triaging then making the ticket yourself. eu is more likely to make mistakes in conveying what's wrong (if anything at all, swear to God I've gotten blank ones)
