As someone with fairly poor cooking ability, I always tend to take dehydrated meals with me when I camp. Some of them are fairly good but as I’m limited to a small number that I can eat (due to dietary requirements), they get pretty “samey” quickly! When Ninja reached out to me and asked if I would like to try out their new outdoor grill for the next camping trip, I said yes. Was it going to be the answer to all of my cooking prayers and up my meal-making game considerably or was it all pie in the sky dreaming? All you need is the grill, an electric hook-up and their recipe book. If you fancy trying something more off-piste then that’s pretty easy too. For breakfast, I went for an (almost) full English including fried eggs. Lunch was a healthier chicken and green salad. After an afternoon of coastal hiking, something more substantial was needed for dinner, so I fired up the smoker and prepared steak with sweet potato wedges and roasted veg. Genuinely, the food was so easy to cook and so so good! Unsurprisingly, I made no friends at the campsite this time 🤣 I’m seriously impressed by this grill. Roll on the next camping trip!
