@smarthomesolver: Home Assistant is the smart home king… but it also steals half my life away 😅 Here are 3 reasons why HA is so powerful: 1) COMPATIBILITY: It works with everything! I listed off a LOT in the video and that’s barely scratching the surface. The other smart home platforms will have random devices that aren’t compatible, but it’s not really an issue with HA and its thriving open source community. 🌎 2) LOCAL CONTROL: Your smart home doesn’t live in the cloud, so it works even if the internet’s down. Also, you DON’T have to worry about some company’s servers shutting down and breaking your automations. 3) AUTOMATIONS: I am constantly asked how to set up advanced automations in the Alexa app or even SmartThings. But if you want advanced features, you’re limiting yourself if you don’t use Home Assistant.
