Our local Publix has signs up and listed on website that SPECIAL orders need 24h notice. NO EXCEPTIONS! also in Bakery, Meat and Produce departments.

Publix Deli worker here! We’re not allowed to say no. You come in before the store closes, you get served. Some people definitely abuse that policy

I worked for publix and while I didn't have to do 100 wings I did have someone come in 3 min before close and ask for fresh 8pc mixed. it takes 15 mins to cook with hot oil. fryer was off.
