I wish more people understood. I used to always say I don’t drink because I knew what would happen. Can say tomorrow will be 1 week sober. Not a long time but it is a milestone for myself.

It takes me forever to finish a bottle of liquor. I’ve had a bottle of whiskey for almost 2 years 🤣 I just enjoy a drink every now and then.

Is one an alcoholic if they don’t drink daily but can’t stop after 1 when they do drink. Every time results in completely blacking out, acting erratically, and don’t remember the next morning 👀

My Father almost died soon to be 2 years ago because that's all he did. He would drink when he first woke up till the time he went to bed. I can drink and stop when I've had to much.

Disagree my ex could drink 1 or 2 if like 5-10 percent of the time and then 3-4 days out of the week get trashed and angry at like 14-24 beers on a weeknight about 1 every 10-15 mins most hours

This was so me!! When I was drinking there was NO one beer. It was a case plus shots and closing the bar down most nights! That's why I do NOT drink anymore!

To really prove to yourself you are not an alcoholic/dependent on alcohol you need to challenge yourself to 3 month of zero alcohol.
