Posing for pictures have always been an insecurity of mine 🫣 I feel so insecure about how I look and I shrink inside 🫠 So recently I’ve set myself a new challenge: to overcome this insecurity with exposure therapy~ In the past month I’ve been studying poses on Pinterest and doing home photoshoots… THEN NPLUSC reached out to me to do a professional photoshoot together 🤯 I was super excited about the opportunity. I wanted to do well so my strategy was to go prepared. I spent hours at home practicing in front of the mirror a week before 🕺🏻 On the day of the shoot, I was so filled with nerves and excitement I puked 🤮🤣 But when I arrived on set I mentally switched on my confident self. There were challenging moments when I felt overwhelmed inside but having the right people around me helped me feel comfortable to keep going (shout out to the NPLUSC team!) 💚🙏🏼 From this experience, I’ve learnt that (1) Having a strong support system is so important when you want to overcome something you’re afraid of (2) You have to put in the WORK and practice (3) Patience with yourself goes a long way (celebrate every attempt you make). Pictures are coming out in the next week or so. I am soooo excited to share it with y’all~ #introvert
