@dasiadoesit: Replying to @Acacia Leigh Replying to @Acacia Leigh i cant tell you who to vote for, i am also not shaming people who choose not to vote, this is for the people who are on the fence and maybe feel a little icky about not voting. . My advice: start local. Focus on whats going on in your backyard right now today. I truly cant tell you who to vote for but I am sure nearer to the presidential election you will have a more clear viewpoint based on your value system. Not everyone is cut out to be a revolutionary, not everyone is willing and able to use violence as a means to bring about change, but not everyone can just up and leave the country right now and voting is NOT an end all be all or a one fix solution to all of our very real problems. But civic engagement is one of the tools in the tool belt of change that we currently do have and its still so important. disillusionment is totally normal but its also crippling. many of us could be more aware of how the world around us works and we can learn together.
