If you know you have a delivery, put the dogs up. I had a delivery and hadn’t made it off the truck, two big a*s dogs were waiting on me. I didn’t get out the truck and they didn’t get their package.

Owning a big German shepherd myself I ALWAYS make sure he’s put away before someone arrives that he doesn’t know he is very protective and anyone would be scared even me and I own one I only trust lol

I also deliver for Amazon and this is my biggest fear. Some dogs are just aggressive and will straight up attack you even if you don't run. I almost got bit once. But I always carry dog treats with me
