You can also ‘tip off’ properties that are sitting vacant for more than 6 months on the state revenue office Victoria website to make sure they pay the vacant residential land tax 👌

Ban foreign ownership, limit of 2 houses per "investor" vacancy tax if left vacant after 6 months, if vacant for longer than 12 months, make them sell it.

I remember when I was a CHILD being told about the empty multi million dollar houses in Sydney being sold to foreign investors that just sit on them and wait for the price to go up to sell.

There’s a million plus +++ house & land in Mt Barker SA, that has been abandoned for at least 16 yrs (just the time watched it deteriorate). The owners are overseas & don’t care 😔
