@thewanderingbeard2.0: In March of 2005, tourists visiting Western Australia booked a luxury cruise aboard a catamaran called the Matrix. Soon after the voyage began their amazing vacation would turn into the stuff of nightmares. Fun note: While researching this story I was looking at the different companies that do a similar cruise and the closest catamaran in size that is operating in the area today doing a similar cruise costs just over $80,000 USD to book for 2 weeks, and it's not even as big or as luxurious as the Matrix was. I know it's not at all important to the story, I just thought it was interesting. It looks like the company that owned/operated the matrix went out of business sometime around 2007 or 2008. #truestory #snorkeling #ocean #shark #animals #australia #cruise #geoffreybrazier #greatwhiteshark #horror #truecrime #CapCut
Although this sounds brutal, I’m glad they didn’t find the shark to harm it 🥺

Weird I’ve heard so many people say “Sharks don’t like humans or like eating us, they prefer seals etc” weird that it came back for the other half

it's crazy imagining the size of it; 20 feet is absolutely massive, just think of the size difference between it and the guys

Monstro :
great white sharks are known to use these drop offs to look for seals and then get enough speed to hit them from below before they see them

Unfortunately you know the risk when you’re in their element, again most people think aah I’ll be ok until this happens. In the ocean below the knees you’re safe above the knees free game !!

You know I’m from Perth/WA and most of the stories you’ve told lately from WA I don’t ever remember. The news does report shark attacks, especially like this but there’s so many more than I thought 😳

Nothing good comes from swimming in the ocean, nothing. I show my small kids jaws before every summer and now they don’t swim in it either. Only the pool
