Guys only because japanese has 500 counters, that doesn't mean they actually use all of them. They mainly use around 20-40 counters. So no need to get stressed over that.

Shi is apparently becoming rarer and rarer as the 4 because of its association with death and is often replaced with yon. 7 is often now nana for the same reason.
