I was born by C section. People ask my mum about previous surgeries so she tells them about that and they’re like, oh no that doesn’t count. Like excuse me?! That is 100% a surgery.

I fired a male endocrinologist for telling me that having GD twice was irrelevant to my prediabetes now (only 19 months after my second was born). It all matters.

Just went to the dr and told them I had GD. That means I have a higher likelihood to develop diabetes in my life. So yea that’s important

My cardiologist said my pregnancy history is very much so important! We believe my pregnancy brought on my POTS. I was severely anemic during pregnancy

My pregnancy triggered sooo many health problems for me. I’ve been to the doctor more times since my daughter was born in 2022 than during my pregnancy.

When they ask about history of surgical procedures they just about roll their eyes when I list my two c-sections and they don’t write it down. As if that doesn’t count as surgery???

Both my babies were early and I found out a couple years ago that I have ulcerative colitis guess what UC can cause, early babies, everything in our bodies is relevant but so many doctors don’t care

I feel like I have the opposite problem. I mention that I have had a baby and suddenly every “diagnosis” becomes OHHH well of course, you’re a mom!!! Nothing unusual here 😑

I get that. I had Hyperemisis for all 4 of my pregnancies. There’s no way that throwing up my insides all day every day for 7months x4 did not have a significant impact on my body.

I don’t understand how it made sense that I took insulin for a period of time, or I was on bed rest for 5 months, or had 2 3cm blood clots at the same time isn’t pertinent to my future health.

had preeclampsia and when I was in labor my kidneys started failing. Two years postpartum and all of a sudden my kidneys aren’t functioning correctly. Yes I think it’s related even though doc doesn’t

HELPP syndrome with first pregnancy, pre-e and IUGR baby with second, third was a ruptured ectopic. The pre-eclampsia foundation has been tracking me for 15 years now so I've known this

Induced for pre-e, hemorrhaged, sent home with hgb of 6 and had ecalmptic seizures 5 days pp. I tell every doctor regardless if they tell me they don’t need to know or not! It’s 100% relevant!
