At my old job, but we used to have a competition where we would get money p/review or a day off from work for whoever was able to get the most amount of five star reviews in the month

I got addressed mail to give 5 star review. for a recent amazon purchase. they would offer me $35 by PayPal for positive 5 star reviews.

Not sure about Amazon & Yelp, but Google is horrible! I do rely on them as a consumer but I shouldn't: anybody can leave a review on Google, even if they've never set foot in the business!

You also have to read between the line. PPL who are mad at a buiness will exaggerate their "poor" experiences, and most are Karen's.

Online searches also. Search best TV or phone etc. Top results are always just days old and paid to be at the top results.

I don't like ppl who leave a review on a buiness they never been to, because someone posted a video online about their bad experience. if you have not been there or used services don't review.
