@mac.larena: I dont typically share parenting tips but i felt called to speak on this. Say yes to help as often as you have time and energy to. 🫶 #parentingtips #momlife #easyweeknightmeals

I don’t know if you’ve realized how much more laid back YOU are with your kiddos. I’ve seen it through a lot of your videos. And it’s helped me ❤️

It’s hard to let them wear a crazy outfit to school but I didn’t want them to think they had to do anything because of what their friends would think.

My parents never let me help, and always did everything for me. When I moved out in my own it was definitely hard to learn that kind of stuff in your 20’s

All this. As a teacher I can quickly see the kids who have had the chance to do this vs the kids who don't. They are willing to task more calculated risks and persevere in tasks where others struggle.

Yes! I remember asking a friend how she raised such independent helpful teens. Show them how to do it and then let them do it and accept the result of their work. Don’t fix it.

Yes! My mom (of 8 kids) took time out of her busy day to teach us how to cook, clean, etc. I learned to iron on pillow cases.😊 Memories last a lifetime. 🥰
