I’m cooking every country’s national dish and today it’s this American classic! 🍔🍟🇺🇸 What country should I do next? 👀👇 Burger Ingredients: 450g 20% fat beef mince 3x Brioche seeded buns American cheese Lettuce Tomato Pickles  Onion Ketchup Mustard Mayo  Salt and black pepper Fries ingredients: 4x large Maris piper potatoes Vegetable oil Salt Burger Method: 1. Divide the beef into 4 equal portion. Shape into patties about 1.5 cm thick. Season generously with salt and black pepper just before cooking. 2. Heat a pan over high heat. Place the patty in the pan and press lightly. Cook for about 2-3 mins until a crust forms. Flip once and add cheese immediately. Cook another 3-4 mins. 3. Butter the inside of each bun and toast it in the pan until golden brown. 4. Spread the sauces on the bun. Place the lettuce on the bottom bun. Add the tomato, then the patty with melted cheese, then onions and pickles. Top with the toasted bun and serve with fries. Enjoy! Fries Method: 1. Peel the potatoes and cut lengthways into thin planks, then into thin fries. Place into cold water, rinse off the starch and then soak in cold water for 30 mins. 2. Drain and then pat the fries dry with kitchen paper. Once dry, heat oil in a deep pan to 163 degrees celcius. Fry for 3-4 mins. Remove the fries and allow to cool. 3. Increase the oil temp to 190 degrees celcius and fry for 2-3 more mins until golden and crispy. Remove from the oil and season with salt. #hamburger #fries #americanfood #nationaldish #recipes
