Many hysteroscopies, uterine biopsies, merina coils, colonoscopy and even an endometrial ablation with no pain relief! Barbaric. Was glad when I had my total hysterectomy! No more bits to examine! 😳

I had a colonoscopy two days ago and I'm still reeling from it. It was the most invasive and horrific procedure I've ever had. I can't imagine what women have to go through. This comment is disgusting

I had read that hysteroscopies were very painful. My gp refused to give me the recommended painkiller do I took all the varieties of OTC painkillers plus vodka and valium... I didn't feel to much...

I an having a hysteroscopy next week and have read many posts like yours. I want sedation at the very least. Many years ago insertion of the coil was painful but having it removed was agony.

I’ve had multiple hysteroscopies & IUD insertions at this point & I personally find them excruciating without local anaesthetic in my cervix (I had the first IUD & endometrial biopsy with nothing).
