I usually won’t recline all the way to be considerate so if someone continues to kick seat is going all the way back. Lean in because I’m petty.

If the seat reclines, you're allowed to use the feature. I would go quietly ask a person a row behind in view of the person doing that to please record it on their phone and show the flight attendant.

If the person behind me was just really tall etc and asked me nicely- hey I have this issue, can you not recline, I would say sure.

Honestly that's the airlines fault. if a chair reclines there should be enough space for the person behind to not have it be pressed against their knees. Still... people need to learn to communicate and be less selfish again. Both sides in this case.

My husband is 6’5, we always try to get extra leg room or first class. In the rare chance we can’t, we make it a point to either see if he can be behind a child or point out he’s 6’5 ahead of time.
