definitely recommend a Kong Zoomgroom over this for a shorthair, these combs usually have blades in them which is why you’re getting so much fur on the brush

Umm that’s an undercoat rake, it has blades it’s mainly used for removing mats on cats and under coat no dogs. You can over stimulate the follicle by using that causing the animal to get hot spots. I don’t recommend using that for brushing

Just a heads up that if ur cat is throwing up often, they are not getting enough moisture in their diet. A healthy cat should not be throwing up

just make sure you don’t use it every day. These type of brushes are not for every day use maybe twice a week the best is once a week. :3
