Watch babies during litter box use, I had 3 rescue kittens who lacked mineral and almost died from eating cat litter. So now I only use walnut, pellets, or corn litter anything non toxic or clumping.

try to use lots of paper and tear them off like shredded so their tiny feet don't touch this litter use paper instead of litter

Silica in those, worse to inhale but probably shouldn’t be consumed. I didn’t realize that until recently either. We use the pellet kind

It was my first experience with this after caring for over 50 babies. I had never heard of it before. Vet wanted to euthanize them. I said no and fed them pumpkin till clay was expelled. Scary
