I want to dedicate this series to a wonderful man that was Mac Burnham who sadly passed away recently. Mac was my friend, dad of my best mate Jake and also my Butcher. When I’d visit his shop I’d go and see him in his office and I’d be greeted with an array of his latest jokes and one liners. He’d never let me leave the butchers without a discount or something on the house, he’d just say ‘don’t worry, mention me on your blog.’ He was a very generous man, nothing was too much trouble to anyone. He truly was one of life’s good guys and he is and will be deeply missed. I’ve used his quality produce throughout the Pub Grub series and one of his favourite whiskeys in the Scotch Egg episode.
