Things I no longer do as a mom who prioritizes her health: 1. I don’t wait for motivation to work out: Motivation comes and goes. A routine keeps me showing up even when I don’t feel like it. 2. I don’t skip meals to “save calories: Fueling my body helps my energy, workouts, and keeps me from overeating later. 3. I don’t let one off day turn into an off week: One missed workout or one indulgent meal doesn’t erase my progress. I simply get back to my routine. 4. I don’t compare my journey to other moms: Everyone has different schedules, bodies, and seasons of life. I focus on my own progress. 5. I don’t treat exercise as punishment: i move because I want to feel stronger, healthier, and capable—not because I “have to earn” my food. 6. I don’t expect perfection: Consistency beats perfection every time. Most days done well is better than a few days done perfectly. 7. I don’t put myself last every single day: Taking care of myself isn’t selfish. It helps me show up as a healthier, more present mom for my family.
