When I first got my retainer I would chuck it every night waking up and realizing it's gone. Across the room, in a shoe, in my hair you name it. I did it for weeks before I stopped lol!!

I have done this so many times but with my mouth guard. I’m amazed how my dog didn’t chew on it yet. I have pulled it out and then woke up with it in my hand or in a random place. 🤣
