@changedbygrief: #pregnancyafterloss and #parentingafterloss How does one broach the topic/ announce a birth. Should i just not tell a friend in my past support groups if i dont know their fertility status? #askingforafriend #needadvice #ttc #fertilityjourney #sensitivetopic #pregnancyloss #miscarriage #tfmr #babyloss

I find it much easier to hear that someone from the TFMR/ pregnancy loss community has had a baby/ is pregnant than 'regular' people in my life. I think being honest works (I'm nervous to tell you...)

As someone who 2 days ago told a very old friend of mine my whole tfmr&loss story as she was holding and breastfeeding her newborn, I feel like people can look past their loss for a good friend. /1

In terms of the support group, my overwhelming experience is that we were honored to support each other through tragedy and would like to support each other in joy. I’d say reach out to anyone you (1)

So thoughtful of you to ask. Just be honest. Tell them u know how this might feel. Ask if pics r okay. Tell them u r ready to share whenever it is a good time for them. Your story will provide hope
