For me personally the cavilon wipe works much better over the powder than the cavilon wand!

My Ostomy nurses at UCSF had me do powder, then barrier, powder then barrier. It creates a crusting that protected me better. You have to end w the barrier film or wafer won’t stick 🥰

I’m not sure what brand you’re using now but, I had the same skin irritation issue and I switched to Coloplast supplies and never had an issue after!
