@corycalendinemd: Hip Replacement fixes arthritis pain 🔨 Today we we talk about hip replacement operation. Anterior total #hipreplacement is a minimally-invasive cure for hip arthritis pain. Anterior Approach hip replacement prevents the joint muscles from being cut, allowing most patients to be up and walking the same day and headed home for recovery. Hip replacement is an excellent procedure if you have chronic hip pain or arthritis that is not improved with more conservative treatment options. Total #Hip Replacement is major surgery, but the basic steps of hip replacement easy to understand #hippainrelief #anteriorhipreplacement #arthritistreatment
6 months post op anterior approach, walking up to 7 miles and bike riding 130 miles a week at age 55. Should have done the hip years ago!

It’ll be 2 years for me in early August. Best thing I ever did even though I was only 41. Down 70 pounds since the morning of surgery!

Here’s probably a different question. I will be getting a hip replacement soon. Having GBS years ago will I suffer a longer recovery because of the weakness due to residual nerve damage in my legs?
