And I realize that it could be very easily misinterpreted No single food or even way of eating completely solves the challenge of dieting. There’s no shortcut to success. But it’s important to remember - a cheat code doesn’t beat the game for you. It just makes it a lot easier. The game of weight loss is much more of a psychological battle than a physical one. And that’s because we know the physical requirements to lose weight - you simply need to be in a calorie deficit. Regardless of dietary composition - if you eat in a calorie deficit, you lose weight. And that’s a very simple, straightforward answer the one of the biggest health problems facing our population. But the reason virtually everyone fails at dieting isn’t because they lack the knowledge of what causes weight loss (eating less calories than you burn) - it’s pretty intuitive. It’s because people are remarkably bad at adhering to calorie deficit creating diets over the long term. Every single diet that anyone has ever succeeded with worked for two reasons: 1.) It created a calorie deficit 2.) it created a system that made it easy for them to adhere to The biggest challenge of dieting, is literally feeling like you’re dieting. It’s feeling like there’s some part of life you’re missing out on.  I say my recipes are “cheat codes” because they can fit in your diet - they’re designed to be significantly lower calorie, higher protein, and macro-nutrient balanced. But they look, feel, and taste like an indulgence or a cheat meal. You don’t need to sacrifice the foods you love to succeed - you simply need to find ways to adjust those foods to make them sustainable options in your diet.
