🏎️✂️£1 Cars themed wall art ✂️🏎️ Given that my post about a pepper created a lot of heat last week, I'm already anticipating the anger cutting up a book might cause... Let me know your thoughts on the poll in the comments. That said, the book was a bit battered in places, the cover was falling off, a few pages were missing and/or damaged so this seemed like the best use for it. Especially as the artwork in it was so lovely! My son is about to transition to a big bed and we're decorating his room in a Cars theme - at his request. So I knew this book would be great to repurpose as wall art. I took my time to go through the book removing any pictures that would be ideal for frames. They went in one pile and in another went pages that would be ideal for collaging. I've kept some to use at home (along with some festive themed pages that will be perfect for making Christmas cards and crafts). I'll also be taking some to my son's nursery or popping them on a local wastesavers page to see if anyone else can use them so nothing goes to waste. The frames I used were from Amazon and cost £9.99, I actually used Amazon credit earned from receipt apps to cover the cost of those so this has literally cost me just £1! The pictures look amazing in the frames and they'll add a lovely splash of colour on the wall. What I also love about these frames is they're lightweight and have thin perspex rather than glass so very toddler room friendly.
