I did my best as manager when I had it. problem was other managers didn't like I prioritized understand my co workers and prioritized my family above the job so when I was demoted 7 people quit.

Reminds me of my fellow managers when I got promoted 😐 was not worth the extra 4p an hour and being used as the scapegoat for any mess ups the other managers did! Glad I quit

Sums up Argos too. Get told we can't have phones on us, but managers can for "work related" reasons, then I catch them on here or watching TV shows whilst sat in the office (not on break).

When I worked in retail, going on break too late was never a problem, it was more likely you'd be sent up on your only break after 2 hours
