the day i realized my old office buildings emrgency plan for wheelchairs users was "wait in the fire towers until someone comes for you" it put it in perspective on the macro as well. its a bad plan.

Yup. I walk pretty well now with braces but my medical diagnosis is quadriplegia. I’m a physician and not eligible for most overseas locums jobs even in areas of great need.
