iirc male whiptails got bred out of the genepool thanks TO parthenogenesis, as more and more would clone each other there wasn't a need for them so they just went extinct

It’s believed that the males had gone extinct through natural selection. While parthenogenesis is really cool it also means that all the animals are working clones making them sensitive to diseases
