A Beneficial Reminder: There are Muslims today who don't know the meaning of Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah), Taghut (false gods), or Wala? Yet, they can tell you the exact birthdate of a football player, the name of his girlfriend, and all the details of his life. Is this what we were created for? He created us for a noble purpose: “And I did not create the jinn and kind except to worship Me.” (Qur'an 51:56) Worshipping Allah means knowing Him, singling Him out in all acts of worship, and staying away from false gods. How can we call our selves Muslims while we ignore the foundations of Islam — while being experts in things that distract us from our purpose? So reflect, O Muslim. Learn the fundamentals of Tawheed. Learn what nullifies Islam. Turn away from sin, and return to Allah before it's late. And Allah is Most Merciful to those who seek Him sincerely.
