I was having marital issue because my spouse didn't believe that I couldn't help certain behaviors. Finding out I had autism helped alot. Sometimes it can help get accommodations that aren't available other wise.

My ex husband was def somewhere on the spectrum, but he was super fragile about it. His mom refused to acknow. it for him as a kid so he went undiagnosed. Idk why parents do that to their kids.

Ppl think just because you’ve had it for years there is no need for meds or diagnoses. Trust being an adult with ADHD is NOT easy. Sometimes meds help.
