The only reason (other than disability ofc) someone has an auto license instead of full is that they aren’t as good a driver 🤷♂️

I do wonder if the types of claims are different. I expect that automatic licence holders are having lots of low speed accidents such as parking. A manual provides a lot more slow speed control.

I’ve got a 1.25l zetec fiesta 2011, got insurance for 2.1k with only £50 voluntary excess and no black box! 😅. I tried less powerful cars and it was more 🙄

Currently got a quote for 1.2k for a 1.2lt 2015 corsa Sri l after I pass test. Included a black box sadly, but will have a dash cam. Do live in a village and do have a prof IT job so maybe that helps

makes sense, cus alot of people with auto license end up doing auto cus they never are good at driving. they havent got the skills of someone with manual

People who go for auto only licence do it because they struggle with normal vehicle controls. Its easier and requires less skill. More slip through and are given licenses. The auto test is too easy.

it's simple because auto drivers can't drive they are scared that's why are doing auto licence only because they think it's easier to drive

Most EV’s when damaged are written off, therefore more insurance than ICE cars.
